An acquaintance recced me to watch Linda Linda Linda a while back, but I was trying to watch it without subtitles and was getting pretty much zero comprehension, so I stopped. Watched it today (still without subtitles), and I got… more than zero comprehension? I mean I would say I understood the gist of the movie, but there were definitely things I wasn’t understanding the entirety of. (I mean also the bits that were in Korean obviously went entirely over my head outside of what I could glean from the visual context.)
I liked it, though, and I’ll probably watch it again sometime with subtitles to see what I missed. I sort of don’t have a full opinion on it since I didn’t understand everything, but at least it didn’t really make me keep checking the clock to see if it was over soon.
