I belieeeeeeve it was Flesh and Stone. I’d known about Doctor Who for a while and already loved the Tenth Doctor just from knowing it was David Tennant and hearing about his shenanigans, but I was at my friend’s house one day and her dad turned the TV on and I’m pretty sure it was Flesh and Stone that was on.

If that doesn’t count, then it was Planet of the Dead lololol. First episode I watched in full. 😀

Gridlock. And I wasn’t really paying close attention, but the fact that Martha didn’t seem to know what was going on either made me rather “WTF?” about the entire show and it took another couple years before I bothered to try it again. Which, I then tried City of Death, because I thought I might like Four better, and was still utterly confused, though I decided I liked Romana at least. And finally coerulescens told me to watch Eleven, so. That was really when I actually started watching it, with The Eleventh Hour.

ETA: WAIT NO. I started with Blink and Silence in the Library, then went to The Eleventh Hour.

Is it weird that I just think this would be kind of adorable?

John is probably so used to seeing occasional glimpses of Sherlock out of the corner of his eye, only to find that he’s not actually there once John turns around, that he doesn’t even react anymore.  He just takes it for granted, and anyone he actually opens up to about it gives him a pitying pat on the shoulder and tells him things will get better in time.  When he finally sees Sherlock for real, he just thinks “Full-on hallucinations were probably only a matter of time, right?”

This is actually what I want to happen now.
