still relevant, if belated

7: SO LIKE. OKAY. I KNEW THAT ELIZABETH WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET MOZZIE TO STAY. BUT EFF.
7: AND THEY RESOLVED NOTHING.
7: AND I JUST WANT SOME CLEAR AIR BETWEEN NEAL AND PETER. EVEN THOUGH THEY BOTH KNOW THAT THE OTHER KNOWS ET CETERA.
L: what’s kind of irritating is I think Peter doesn’t really mind, even, that Neal is lying to him, which is partly why I’m like. Okay. But then Peter’s been upset because Neal is his friend and he doesn’t want Neal to throw his life away.
7: Yes.
L: And he also feels like he can’t allow himself to trust Neal completely, because he knows Neal isn’t really sure himself.
L: AND THEN NOW FUCKING ELIZABETH IS MISSING
L: :SLKDJF:SLDKJ KELLER.
L: HAD I LIKED YOU BEFORE I WOULD HATE YOU NOW, BUT I SURE DIDN’T.
7: It’s both irritating and also I’m kind of like. Well they’re not going to kill Elizabeth because then it would get rid of Peter and Mozzie in one fell swoop, if not also Neal (because this isn’t the type of show where they can have that kind of calamity and then soldier through it). So at the same time it’s “OMGWTFKELLER.” and also kind of a letdown?
L: ahah yeah I’m not… too worried about Elizabeth herself? (Which sort of is … awkward, given I do really like her, but this kind of emphasizes that the women are just decorations, even in this show.)
L: But it’s sort of. lol. Elizabeth being the moral mark or whatever, Keller going after HER of all people is like “HOW YOU COULD YOU, YOU MONSTER.”
7: Yes.
7: So yeah. Mostly I’m kind of irritated that they had to bring Keller back at all, since it means that suddenly the story is about him and not about Neal’s Big Decision.
7: Which they keep HARPING ON IN EVERY CONVERSATION.
L: Which … I’m not sure how I feel about that part given I was like, kind of irritated that it was all about Neal’s Big Decision anyway.
7: I JUST WANT IT RESOLVED SO I CAN STOP HEARING ABOUT IT.
L: But it’s kind of like… a copout that he and Mozzie aren’t actually going to work things out
7: Yes.
L: like… some … slightly more normal way
L: lawl, half-seasons!
L: WANT TO HULK SMASH.
7: PRETTY MUCH.
L: They’re like “Oh, we can do half-seasons… it can have twice the cliffhangers! :D”
7: I just want things resolved that should not have taken THIS LONG to resolve. And now there’s new things that have to be resolved which are just going to push back the actual thing and it’s going to fuck everyone up and then it’s just going to be fine like an episode later.
7: And if every conversation between EVERY CHARACTER could stop being veiled references about Neal and/or Peter and the fact that Neal is a Bad Guy who has to make Big Decisions.
7: That would be super.
L: AGH. YES.
L: good god, I was like, aren’t you guys tired of hearing yourselfs insinuate yet?
7: EVEN BEAU BRIDGES WAS DOING IT. AND HE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW NEAL.
L: AHAHA YES.
L: I WAS LIKE SHUT UP OLD MAN YOU AREN’T EVEN A PART OF THIS STORY.
7: His character was pointless.
L: Best part of this episode was Diana squealing like a fangirl.
7: Ahah yes!
7: Second best part was Diana being like “I’m his muscle. >:|”
L: She was almost literally hopping up and down with glee.
7: AT LEAST DIANA DOESN’T LET US DOWN.
7: SO FAR.
L: as everyone else is like “… uh.”
7: Ahah yes.
L: SHE PROBABLY WON’T GIVEN SHE’S A WOMAN AND THEREFORE INSIGNIFICANT.
7: 😀
L: ALSO SHE’S NOT ATTRACTED TO NEAL.
L: So she can’t even have her own half-arc.
7: Seriously.
L: It’s like. I appreciate that both Diana and Elizabeth are awesome
L: BUT MAYBE YOU COULD DO SOMETHING WITH THEM.
7: I know! Because they really are.
L: It actually really excited me for a while that El and Mozzie were like. Literally friends.
L: Who called each other up to chat.
7: Yes. Before it became the inevitable “Because she is The Heart, we will use her to drive the real characters in to action!” it was adorable.
L: I know.
L: :SLkdjf.
7: And now it. Still is, but it’s really annoying as well.
L: Yes.
L: Argh. This show.
L: Stop making me angry, fluff show.
